The AIAA-SF Section has once again booked a private tour of the Lick Observatory. Join us on September 24 for a chance to see firsthand one of the largest telescopes in the world. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet fellow air and space enthusiasts and learn about this historic facility.

The Lick Observatory was built in 1888 on Mount Hamilton, just east of San Jose. Lick is home to the Shane Telescope, which uses a massive 120-inch reflector. The observatory is constantly being used by all the UCs and has led to many discoveries including several exoplanets and Near Earth Asteroids.
